This page explains how Oquarto indexes public listings from real estate agencies, what we do and what we don't, and how you can manage your presence on the platform. It's written so any agency can understand, clearly and unambiguously, its position with respect to Oquarto.
Oquarto is an aggregator-style housing search engine. Our role is to help end users find the property they're looking for and redirect them to the agency that manages it.
Oquarto is NOT:
Oquarto IS:
Oquarto indexes only public information published by agencies on their own websites. We don't access private databases, don't extract information behind login forms, and don't use unauthorized APIs.
Every card on Oquarto clearly attributes authorship to the agency and links to the original listing. Our explicit goal is for the user to end up on your website, not ours.
You can request the removal of all your content from Oquarto at any time. We don't ask for explanations, apply waiting periods, or attach commercial conditions. Email us from a verifiable address at your agency to agencies@oquarto.com specifying the domain of your website and we'll remove your content within a maximum of 48 business hours.
Request removal → agencies@oquarto.comOur crawler automatically respects the directives in each site's robots.txt file. If you'd rather block us at the technical level, you can add a specific rule for our user-agent and our system will stop indexing your content without you needing to contact us.
If you spot an error in the data we display (outdated price, wrong image, property no longer available), email agencies@oquarto.com and we'll correct or remove the affected card as a priority.
If instead of removing your content you'd rather amplify it, we can establish a direct partnership. Partner agencies get:
We always attribute the listing to the agency and link to the original. We never hide the origin or pass the listing off as our own.
We don't reproduce the full agency card. We show a summary sufficient for the user to decide whether they're interested and click through to your website.
The primary button on each card links to the original listing on the agency's website, not to a form on ours.
Opt-out is free, immediate, and requires no justification. Your content, your decision.
Our crawler limits request frequency to avoid impacting your site's performance, respects robots.txt, and identifies itself with a clear user-agent.
We index public information voluntarily published on your website, in the same way any search engine does (Google, Bing). Our legal basis is the legitimate interest of helping public listings be discovered, always with attribution and a link back. In any case, we respect your decision if you'd rather not appear: opt-out is immediate and free.
A maximum of 48 business hours from the time we receive your verified email. In practice, it's usually the same day.
No. Basic presence on Oquarto is completely free, as is removal. We only charge if you choose an active partnership with qualified leads and full listings.
Never. Every lead generated from your listing belongs to your agency and goes directly to you. Oquarto does not resell leads or share them with other agencies.
You can let us know by email and we'll remove it. Additionally, our systems detect changes on your website and update availability status automatically at a regular cadence.
